Committee Bylaws
This committee is authorized and established by the Chancellor following a recommendation of the Faculty Senate further implementing recommendations by the Graduate Council representing the Graduate Faculty to:
- Evaluate and propose general policies relative to the scope of the Missouri S&T research activities;
- Recommend procedures for promoting research; and
- Assume responsibilities for collection, evaluation, and dissemination of information relative to the improvement of and use of Missouri S&T's research capabilities. The committee is organized as one of the five standing committees of the Graduate Faculty.
The committee will be chaired by the Vice Provost for Research and membership includes four members chosen by the Graduate Council, three members from the directors of the research centers appointed by the Vice Provost, and a representative from the Council of Graduate Students.
